Back after year...

As New Year embark on, Our mind flood up with lot many new resolutions, goals & plans. I was not exception for that, so take action or to execute plans and stick to resolution of year I rejoined most enthusiastic club of public speaking & leadership i.e Toastmaster club of Pune. When I came to club after year, there were lot of changes, changes in every aspects, there was a change in venue, most thrilling and beautiful place. Lot many new faces and very few old buddies.
When I reached there it was little late, Sergeant-at-arms was already began with meeting & introduction.
We entered in between disturbing procedure of club meeting. I was extremely happy when I entered in club meeting premise, I was beginning with my dropped interest with full of enthusiasm. However there was a thought”why I could not continue my improvement journey“
Without making turmoil of thoughts which were disturbing, entered meeting hall, it was pleasing. Introduction was going on, theme of the day, word of the day & idiom of the day was written on white board neatly.
Everyone was introducing themselves as an when their turn comes. I was observing old buddies & improvement in them. It was phenomenal change in there speaking style, dialog delivery confidence level; it’s amazing to see such transformation. One by one Toastmaster’s and guests were introducing themselves. I was sitting on last row as turn reached to second last row, there was a change in feeling, heart was little heavy. That was sudden change & such a fear, its intensity was growing as turn was approaching me. I stood up to speak, I was witnessing immense pressure on heart, however managed to introduce & talk about theme of the day making use of word of the day.

Meeting continued with plethora of speeches & followed by evaluation. Feedback to speakers & voting for best performer in speech as well as evaluation was making my previous experience alive.
During networking break enjoyed free mug full strong cappuccino coffee with gossiping older buddies. Anxiousness was bothering me.

Table topic master continued after break session by taking control from toastmaster of the day.  Again in impromptu speaking performed badly but after settling down I realize how important it is to set a goal and stick to the plan & practice so that goal could be achieved.
There was live example of that; my older buddies were articulating there public speaking skills & leadership skills phenomenally well. What I realize the Mantra behind their success is commitment & Practice, practice, practice …

Here I remember a famous dialogue”Ek baar jo maine commitment kar di…uske baad toh main khud ki bhi nahin sunta!” from Bollywood movie WANTED.

As Arwind Kejriwal leaded Aam Adami Party committed many things in WANTED style & fulfilled their commitment in NAYAK style.
We do need to commit in wanted style so that we could fulfill our goals in our own style.

So this year would be wanted year for me so I could continue some resolution & achieve decided mile stones.  So I appeal all the resolution makers and one who could not continue, to take oath in WANTED style & make that success in your own style!!!
